Dean Tom Gordon – whose civil partnership last summer led to the current Church of Ireland debate about homosexuality – should state whether he is in a sexual relationship, Bishop Harold Miller has said.
President Barack Obama has continued to speak in favour of gay marriage arguing the introduction of same-sex marriage will strengthen families.
Jay-Z has come out in support of gay marriage. The rapper made the comments after President Obama said he supported states legalising marriage for same-sex couples. In an interview with CNN he said he thought the ban on gay marriage was "something that was still holding the country back". He added:
